“Welcome to the Family. “

Prep U Team has been incredible. We feel grateful for the expertise and for the connection our counselor made with our son.

“When we first met PrepU, we were worried that our son wouldn’t graduate from high school. Last week, he graduated from college with a degree in Cybersecurity and a job secured. I am eternally grateful for the guidance and support of the PrepU team.”

-Sheila

“Our daughter had her heart set on applying to very high ranking schools… however, as Canadians, we had very little information about how best to manage this, and how reasonable these goals were for her.  The PrepU team was there every step of the way, all the  way to my daughter’s acceptance to Brown University!

-Emily Wang, Brown University Parent

We have two sons, each with thier own individual strengths and weaknesses. Jen and the Prep U Team have been incredible.  Jen worked with our sons long-term and each landed exactly where they should be- United States Naval Academy and George Washigton University.”

“Jen! I got accepted to colombia!!!!!”

“Yay!!! I cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING you have done over the past few months.  Your encouragement, your way with Kendall, your SAT tutoring, the essay editing, and helping her to organize her thoughts!! You are amazing!!!  She loved working with you.”

“I was really nervous about taking the SAT. My tutor made things seem simple and helped me to understand the tricky parts. She had me work so that I was ready to tackle the real test. Her strategies helped me to relax and get a great score.””

“I worked with my tutor to improve my ACT and SAT Critical Reading and Writing scores. I raised my scores by 240 points. In addition, the writing skills I learned have carried over into writing for school, college essays, and scholarship applications. I would recommend Jen to anyone looking to improve not only their SAT scores, but also their everyday writing skill”

THE TRUE MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Statistics are easy. We can make long lists of the many universities acceptances our students have earned (and we will, because we are super proud of them!)

But at PrepU, we are equally concerned with the unquantifiable impact we make on families and students.

Here are some other ways know we are on the right track:

  • When Alex tells us he feels more confident, less stressed, and more hopeful for his future
  •  When Sally (mom) says she is finally able to have an open conversation about college with her daughter
  • When Marco sends us a 7-exclamation point text about his recent SAT score.
  • When Katie, who hadn’t engaged in any activities since Covid, finally enrolled in the art class she had her eye on.
  • When Sheridan completed the self-initiated research project we had envisioned with her
  • When Lindsey texted us only to say that she finally feels ready for college
  • When James texted us from college to say he had made the best decision of his life
  • When Abby reached out for help for her Organic Chem class (yes, even our college students stay in touch!)
  • When 4 former students joined the PrepU team!

At first, I must admit, our son wasn’t wild about taking an SAT prep course. But as the program progressed, we noticed his attitude changed. Each week he seemed more and more into it. He enjoyed the instructors and the other students – and he REALLY liked his results: His score improved 300 points! We all consider your program VERY worthwhile. It was money – and time – well spent.”

“I worked with Jen before my ACT and SAT tests. My time spent was really well spent and she really helped me succeed in both tests. On my SAT, I improved my score from a 1620 to an 1850, and on my ACT I achieved a score of 31. Jen was excellent to work with and easy to get along with.”
